Wendy believes meaningful change happens when people feel supported, understood, and equipped with the right tools. She enjoys the moment when a client begins to see things differently—when self-doubt loosens its grip and hope starts to feel possible again. Wendy works with clients ages 10 and up and specializes in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She also supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and body image concerns.
Before becoming a therapist, Wendy spent 29 years as a public middle school teacher, giving her deep insight into the struggles both students and teachers face. She enjoys working with children and teens navigating challenges within the school system and can help serve as a bridge between students, families, and schools when needed. Wendy also loves working with teachers.
Wendy supports women navigating hormonal and life-stage changes, including menopause. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, and her work around body image is grounded in a Health at Every Size® (HAES)-aligned perspective that emphasizes body respect and self-compassion.
Delilah, Wendy’s five-pound tabby cat, occasionally pops into virtual counseling sessions, adding a bit of levity.
