MEET WENDY
Anxiety, depression, and obsessive thoughts can feel especially overwhelming during times of change- whether you're navigating school pressures, work stress, or major life transitions. Wendy works with clients ages 10 and up who are feeling stuck, exhausted, or caught in cycles of worry and self-doubt, and who want support that feels both compassionate and practical. On a personal level, Wendy is passionate about helping women navigate anxiety and depression related to biological changes that come with different phases of their lives.
Wendy is a native of North Carolina and completed her undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University. She was a public middle school teacher for twenty-nine years. After retiring from teaching in 2022, she earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Delilah, Wendy’s five-pound tabby cat, occasionally pops into virtual counseling sessions, adding a bit of levity.
